My story begins in Queens, New York, raised in a household that fostered creativity and intellect. My father, an architect, and my mother, a forensic and clinical psychologist, provided a unique blend of artistry and analytical thinking that would come to define my approach to life.

Before venturing into the creative realms that would shape my future, I was a competitive USA swimmer, honing my dedication and discipline. These early experiences laid the foundation for my journey.

High school found me at the Rudolf Steiner School in Manhattan, where I embraced a holistic education that encouraged a deep connection with the world around me. It was here that my love for psychology began to take root.

​

As a psychology major at the University of Delaware from 2013 to 2015, my academic path took an unexpected turn. It was during my time here that I discovered my fascination with fashion. I wasn't content with just being a part of the industry; I had an innate desire to reshape it. The pivotal moment came in a fashion sustainability course when I realized I could be an agent of change.

Determined to turn my passion into a reality, I took a giant leap. I secured a spot at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute in the Netherlands as an International Fashion Design major. Here, I understood that fashion isn't just about designing sustainable clothing; it's about comprehending human behavior and leveraging it to catalyze change within the industry.

 

Yet, my journey didn't stop there. While I live in the Netherlands, I spend my summers in New York, and in the summer of 2017, I ventured into the world of interior design. Working alongside Aaron Scott Kirsten, I embraced a role centered on project management and nurturing client relationships, further honing my skills as a creative problem-solver.

 

But my academic roots beckoned me back to Europe to complete my psychology degree at Webster University in Leiden. This phase of my life equipped me with a deep understanding of diverse cultures, offering a global perspective that now infuses my creative work.

Following graduation, I embarked on my digital adventure as an online marketing intern for Babysits in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Soon after, I wore multiple hats as a graphic designer, social media guru, and brand manager at Jilster in Voorschoten for three years (2020-2023).

 

Now, I'm embarking on the exciting next chapter of my journey. I see myself stepping into the role of an Art Director, where I can truly thrive in the art of crafting narratives that seamlessly weave together emotions and culture to engage audiences deeply. The road ahead is full of endless possibilities, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the future, where every moment becomes a canvas for innovation and creativity.
